Electret Microphone Amplifier Kit (#1695-EM)

This is the LM386 Audio Amplifier Electret Mini Microphone with Tone Control Kit. It includes the very popular LM386 Audio Power Amplifier IC, 8-Pin. This is one of the world's most popular Audio Power Amplifier Integrated Circuits ever made.

This Amp Kit has been designed so that there are 3 different style of input connectors and 2 different styles of output connectors to choose from. For example, you may choose a 1/4" Phono input and a 2-pin Screw Terminal output. Or you may choose a 2-pin Screw Terminal for the input and an RCA jack for the output. This gives you great flexibility. This kit will come with a 2 pin screw terminal input and a RCA Output. For different combos please email us.

This LM386 Amplifier circuit has provisions for the output gain to be adjusted anywhere from 20 to 200. A unique input stage allows ground referenced input signals. The output automatically self-centers to one-half the supply voltage. It has a low THD rated for 0.2% at 125mWatts. See the specifications for all of the data.

This kit is also offered with a "Built & Tested" option for those that do not want to build the kits themselves. The PCB is 4" long x1" wide made of .062" FR-4 epoxy glass. All holes are plated through. The traces are wide to withstand numerous circuit changes. This kit does not include the tools you will need to assemble the circuit. You will need tools such as a soldering iron, solder, wire cutters, etc.
